Industrial-Laundry Workwear Fabric Development

Changshu Huamao Textile Co., Ltd. Second Branch supports overseas workwear and safety-apparel brands, fabric buyers and industrial-laundry adaptation teams with fabric sample development based on buyer-confirmed machine, wash programme, temperature, detergent, drying route and cycle count.

We start from the buyer's industrial-laundry conditions, then support the development of composition, construction, weight, colour and finishing directions together with a practical sample, testing and procurement-document route.

Buyer question and development scope

Confirm the industrial-laundering conditions before designing the fabric and sample route.

Industrial-laundry fabric development starts with the buyer's machine, wash programme, target temperature, detergent, drying method and cycle count. We use those conditions to design the fabric route, sample plan and validation method.

01

Inputs required from the buyer

Machine and loading route, wash programme, target temperature, detergent, drying method, cycle count, end use and buyer-defined acceptance criteria.

02

Fabric development direction

Composition and blend, construction and weight, colour and finishing, and sample specification can be developed around the project rather than being limited by a historical sample.

03

Project validation route

The factory and buyer confirm the sample, test method, acceptance criteria and document purpose for the actual project before quotation and bulk-production planning.

Project development process

Four clear review points from the development brief to an assessable sample.

01

Condition review

Confirm the machine, programme, temperature, detergent, drying, cycle count, end use and acceptance criteria, and identify information still required from the buyer.

02

Material route

Discuss composition, construction, weight, colour and finishing directions and define a material route for sample review and subsequent testing.

03

Sample approval

Review the physical sample against the confirmed identity, specification and colour. Only an approved sample proceeds to the agreed test or document-review route.

04

Testing and commercial review

Review results and applicability against the agreed method, then confirm the quotation and bulk discussion against quantity, delivery and project conditions.

Industrial-laundry development experience

A completed 75°C sample validation provides a technical reference for customer projects.

SGS report SL32603343222701TX and the paired COT 326033432227 Issue 1 record the validation of an independently developed sample set under industrial-laundry conditions. We use this experience to support discussions on fabric routes, sample plans and testing strategies for new projects.

Industrial-laundry development reference
Development samples
Independently developed 65% polyester / 35% cotton fluorescent yellow, orange and red woven test samples. HM007 is the report label for this submitted sample set.
Validation conditions
ISO 15797:2017 Table 4 Procedure 2 (reduced load), 75 ± 2°C; Procedure A tumble drying, not exceeding 90°C; 50 washes.
Validation result
Sample A was recorded as PASS under the report conditions; dimensional change was -2.7% lengthwise and -1.0% widthwise, meeting the requirement stated in the report.
Procurement support
New compositions, colours, constructions, weights, finishes and project conditions can be discussed as new development and validation routes. The paired COT and full report can support controlled procurement review.

Evidence boundary: This SGS material supports only the independently developed submitted samples and the test items listed in the report. It is not linked to any current catalogue SKU and is not a garment, PPE, CE or EU type certification.

From validation experience to customer projects

Turn industrial-laundry experience into an actionable fabric-development route.

01

Apply proven development experience

Use completed industrial-laundry sample validation as a technical reference for composition, construction, weight, colour and finishing decisions.

02

Develop beyond the historical sample

Build new project routes around the buyer's machine, wash programme, temperature, cycle count, end use and target standard.

03

Coordinate samples and documents

Advance sampling, test-method planning and procurement documents together to support internal review, quotation and bulk-production decisions.

The report records an independently developed submitted sample. Each customer project receives a sample and validation route based on its actual operating conditions.
