Over 100,000 Rubs: Our Nylon Four-Way Stretch Test

Two black nylon four-way stretch samples, three specimens each, were submitted to UTS Jiangsu. Under ISO 12947-2:2016 at nominal 9 kPa, every specimen recorded >100000 rubs. These individual results provide a concrete reference for evaluating a durable-fabric route.

UTS Jiangsu report ZFLJ01187969 records three specimens each for Grid nylon four-way stretch and 320D nylon four-way stretch, both described as black woven samples. All six values are >100000. The English version ZFLJ01187969A provides the same results for international technical review.

Why the result matters: sustained abrasion, individual evidence

Abrasive wear is a relevant consideration when selecting materials for workwear. Our case combines a named method, a stated 9 kPa pressure and individual specimen records beyond the 100,000-rub mark. That makes the result useful as an evidence-based material-development reference.

Every specimen is recorded

Each of the three specimens from each sample records >100000, rather than presenting only one combined value.

Test conditions are explicit

Method, pressure and abrasive are stated, helping your technical team assess whether other evidence is comparable.

Bilingual technical records

Chinese and English report versions support verification of the sample names and each recorded result.

50,000 vs 100,000: turn the count into a clear requirement

If a buyer sets a 50000- or 100000-rub target under the same method and conditions, the counts define different acceptance targets. Our report records >100000 for every specimen; it does not describe a separate 50000 test. A larger laboratory count does not directly mean twice the real-life service life.

Specify the actual sample, construction, colour, finish, test method, pressure, abrasive and acceptance rule. ISO 12947-2 concerns specimen breakdown and excludes coated fabrics, including laminated fabrics; the appropriate coated-surface method must be selected separately. ISO 12947-2 official scope

Testing support across fabric types

We can support test planning and third-party submission for different fabrics, selecting methods for the material construction, intended use and buyer requirements. Share your material specification, likely wear conditions and target performance to discuss a suitable sample and testing plan.

The case results belong to the two tested black nylon samples. They are not bound to a catalogue SKU; new colours, finishes and materials are evaluated separately.

Requirement and judgment are “--”; the report gives no pass/fail assessment. >100000 is a lower-bound record, not an exact breakdown count or service-life promise. No garment certification, HM270 applicability, pilling, wash or flame-performance claim is made from these nylon results.
